Accessibility Statement

Last updated October 2026

Our Commitment

Craftsmen’s Guild wants everyone to be able to learn about our work and reach us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is our target, not a claim that every page already meets it.

What We Have Done

Our most recent review was in October 2026. Since then:

  • Every image in our media library has a text description (alt text), and new uploads are checked for one.
  • Every link, button and form field shows a visible outline when you move to it with the keyboard.
  • Small text was re-checked for colour contrast, and text that fell below the WCAG AA ratio was darkened.
  • Form fields have labels that screen readers announce, and form errors are shown in text.
  • The site works without a mouse, and it has no autoplaying video or audio.
  • The accessibility options button at the bottom of every page lets you enlarge text, raise contrast and reduce motion.

Known Limitations

Some things are not fully accessible yet, and we would rather tell you than hide them:

  • Some older blog posts were moved over from our previous website, and their images and headings may not all be described or structured as well as our newer pages.
  • The spam check on our contact form (Google reCAPTCHA) is provided by a third party, and we cannot change how it works. If it stops you, call or email us instead.
  • Text placed over project photos is checked by eye rather than measured, because the photo behind it changes the contrast.

Tell Us About a Problem

Ongoing Review

We review the website’s accessibility at least once a quarter and whenever we add a new kind of page, and we update this statement when we do.
