About This Project
This renovation served returning clients, an elderly couple, transforming their home from its original 1980s aesthetic. The spiraling staircase was repositioned to serve as the home's focal point.
The kitchen was reconfigured to incorporate a walk-in pantry, while walls were removed to create an expansive great room suited for living and entertaining. The modernization included marble flooring, an 18-foot iron-clad front door, designer crystal lighting, Anderson windows, cast-stone fireplace mantels, and built-in mahogany cabinetry.
Despite budgetary limitations, the completed project achieved a bright and airy home, modernized for the clients' enjoyment while retaining a touch of nostalgia from their grandparents' era.
